Presentation of the farm

With an orchard of more than 50 hectares of walnut trees in the guaranteed appellation zone “Noix de Grenoble”, we farm about 250 tons of fresh and dried walnuts every year.

Our farming is in compliance with GLOBALGAP certification, thus ensuring product quality and process controlling (herbicides, fertilizers, walnut drying, and so on …)  

 Standard GLOBALGAP aims to reassure consumers about the way food is processed on a farm: we impact the less possible on natural environment, by using but few harmful chemical products and by guarantying a responsible approach of health and workers security.

An ultra modern harvester guaranties a quick crop, which is a token of quality for walnuts:

  • 1 lateral vibrator and 2 walnuts gatherers AMB Rousset (national leader for walnut gathering machines)
  • 1 washing line delivering 15 tons per day
  • 1 experimental washing-water filtering system, to preserve environment, in partnership with SENURA (Station Expérimentale NUcicole Rhône Alpes)
  • 10 drying units for a volume of 180 m3, guarantying an over-sized capacity of 20 tons per day
