Origin:

A variety resulting from the crossbreeding between Franquette and Pierral Lara ®, quite recently carried out by INRA (1995)


The tree:
 
  • average vigour
  • semi-erected
  • late bud-breaking: around April 20th - 30th
  • late blossoming
  • fruiting on lateral twigs
  • better fruiting and yield than Franquette
  • rather impervious to anthracnose, moderately sensitive to blight
  • Pollinators : Fernette and Ronde de Montignac ( 5 % )

The fruit:
  
  • average size, elongated walnut
  • good quality, well joined shell
very light coloured kernel, very nice taste, easy to break
