The tree:

 

  • average vigour
  • semi-erected to semi- spread out bearing
  • rather early bud-breaking : around April, 10th - 20th
  • rather early blossoming
  • fruiting on lateral twigs
  • quick fruiting and high yield
  • rather sensitive to anthracnose, moderately sensitive to blight
  • pollinators: Franquette, Fernette and Ronde de Montignac (5%)

The fruit:
  
  • very big size, round walnut
  • thin shell
  • early : 10 days before Franquette
  • yellow kernel, that you can eat without pealing (no bitterness)
