The tree:
- rather strong vigour
- semi-erected bearing
- late bud-breaking (April 25th - May 4th), usually avoiding spring frosts
- blossoming: its female blossoming occurs rather late (May 11th - 22nd), largely overlapping its late anthesis (May 16th - 26th); catkins appear very quickly on young trees and their quantities become very abundant very quickly on older trees.
- good yield, slightly lower than Franquette’s, rather quick fruiting
