Walnut-based recipes
Ingredients: - 250 g of walnut kernels roughly chopped
- 250 g of sugar
- 50 g of flour
- 6 eggs
- A small glass of cognac or rum

Mix the kernels with the sugar and the flour.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks and incorporate the yolks into the ready mixture

Flavour with the alcohol

Add carefully the stiffly beaten egg whites.

Pour into a buttered cake tin and bake at medium heat (170° C) during one hour.

Turn the cake out, let it cool down and garnish it at will with walnut kernels and Chantilly cream.
Ingredients: - 40 green walnuts
- 4 litres of red wine
- 1 kg of sugar
- 1 litre of brandy
- 1 vanilla pod

Gather the walnuts around June the 21st.

Wash them and dry them with absorbent paper, put all ingredients in a demijohn
